'In the Balance' is a series which evolved during 2021. An emotional response to the effects of humankind on the balance in nature, these intuitive pieces were created to invite viewers to slow down and engage with the detail of the work. Insects are hidden among foliage or at times in plain sight. Invoking that curiosity that we had in childhood about the natural world, which can be lost as we age and become preoccupied with the distractions of life. This work was shown at 'Imprint Gallery' during November 2021
