Bowl of Limes was the first painting in this series. The beginning of an experimental abstract adventure for me. Glazes create a glow, adding warmth to the crisp citrus feel.
The Zest series evolved from a desire to create a body of work which, while maintaining my love for bold, vibrant colour, also provided a more minimalist and calming composition.
The use of Indian Yellow throughout the series, creates a strong peaceful connection between the paintings.
