The title really says it all. A glow of warmth comes from the work. Nostalgia of summers past and anticipation of summers to come. Organic layers create depth and interest.
The Zest series evolved from a desire to create a body of work which, while maintaining my love for bold, vibrant colour, also provided a more minimalist and calming composition.
The use of Indian Yellow throughout the series, creates a strong peaceful connection between the paintings.
